02 - Music.File ♪: MAY

I'm sure all you K-POP lovers out there know that May is the month of comebacks from various artists including Wonder Girls, Super Junior, MBLAQ, f(x), C.N Blue, Seo In Young and the list goes onnnn!

Instead of writing about the well known groups, I'm going to shine some light on 2 particular comebacks that I'm glad are back in the music scene. =))

8eight - The Bridge (EP)
8eight is a power ballad trio who won their rise to fame through a singing programme called Show Survival (쇼 서바이벌) -- a Korean equivalent to Pop Idol. Although, they aren't your typical Korean idols, they are incredibly talented and produce the most heart-wrenching songs.
Check out 이별이 온다 The Approaching Goodbye with Nichkun (2PM) as the lead in the MV! ;)

Davichi - Innocence
I have been a HUGE fan of Davichi since their release of their first album AMARANTH back in 2008 and having disappeared for over a year after promoting Davichi in Wonderland, I was incredibly excited when they released their mini-album Innocence! Similar to 8282, their song 시간아 멈춰라 (Time Please Stop) combines punk rock with ballad wheresa 8282 combines dance and ballad. And ofcourse Davichi makes it work-- Its always interesting when songs have that twist! =))

Coincidently, both are ballad groups! I think ballad groups get overshadowed by major K-Pop groups. They need more recognition in my opinion!

Just sidetracking a bit.. has anyone seen MBLAQ's teaser? OMG. LEE JOON. I've completely fallen head over heels for this guy.. why is he so hot!? -- sorry, fangirl moment there!
I'm so psyched about MBLAQ's comeback! Catchy song + Hot teaser -- looks promising! xP

Ulzzang: Lee Chung

Oh Its been a while again since I blogged!
I recently noticed that I've actually gained some followers! I wasn't really expecting anyone to follow me, but I'd like to say thanks and a big fat HELLO to those who have!!  =)) I'll try and post interesting things more frequently! xP

Since I haven't done a ulzzang post for quite a while.. I thought I'll do one on Lee Chung-- a male ulzzang.

Lee Chung strikes me as a chic-bad boy type of guy. Bad because of his massive tattoo and his cig-in-hand photos yet chic because he can pull off these "bad" aspects and make it look cool and stylish at the same time.
Despite that, he still retains the generic ulzzang look with his milky white skin, slender physique, small lips and defined facial features--even for a guy, I'm jealous!!
And the same goes for most ulzzangs, Lee Chung models for an online clothes store company called  MUJI
