Miliyah Kato x Shimizu Shota (清水翔太×加藤ミリヤ)

This made me incredibly excited when I found out that duo Miliyah Kato and Shimizu Shota have teamed up again for another catchy collab -- BELIEVE, a song conveying the power of love and how they will overcome anything if they believe in each other. ;) 大好き!<3

It's been almost a year and a half since they released Love Forever and it's about time they musically hooked up again! ;) Check it outtt!

And for Miliyah Kato fans, she's recently featured in July's version of SCawaii! ;)

Miliyah Kato's single Desire/Baby!Baby!Baby! is expected to be dropped on 13th July 2011 so mark that date downn! ;) However, the pv for those have already been released and I'm loving Baby!Baby!Baby!

Hong Kong

Current Hong Kong Time of writing: 13:07
Current UK Time of writing: 06:07

I've been in Hong Kong for two weeks now, and I have to say nothing much has changed since I was last here, which was a year ago. It has now gotten to the point where it feels I've never left Hong Kong! Last year, I was so determined to blog EVERYDAY about my daily antics, but after posting the first two days of my visit, I gave up! haha  So this year, I aim to be less optimistic, but post at least once each week! But it seems I've already failed! HA!

What's different this time about my trip, is that this has been the first time ever that I've come back so early in the year! Normally, June time would still be exam and school time, but since being a uni student, I have come to optimise the use of my mega long holidays! xP

But anyways, I notice that I sometimes write too much and it drags down my blogging morale.. so consequently I give up half way and leave it sitting in drafts most of the time. So I think I'm just going to post pictures and leave that do the talking! xP

Mindful of Cravings

I say to myself every year, 'whats the point in going to Hong Kong, when you're not going to eat?' -- yes, Hong Kong has the best food in the worldd, and it would be foolish to miss out on them if you're only here for a short period of time!

During my first semester at uni, I managed to lose a whole stone just by getting through the day with one meal.. -- and no, I wasn't trying to be anorexic (don't be silly! I'm the furthest away from being anorexic!!) it was literally how it worked out with my intense timetable. On most days, I would have a 9am and sometimes wouldn't finish till 6pm (and they say 1st year is meant to be easy!?! o_O) which meant I wouldn't get home till 7pm cause I live so far away! And that was probably the only time I had the chance to eat a proper meal. Therefore this weight loss wasn't completely intentional!
In a way, I was glad this was happening coz I've been told most of my life that I need to lose weight, but on the other hand, I knew I wasn't getting the nutrients that I needed and I'm not losing it the way you should be.. >_<

But now uni has finished, I feel as though I've gained all that weight back again because essentially I've been on two holidays so far! Paris was full of good yet expensive food, but Hong Kong is full of amazing yet CHEAP food! So just as a consolation, I tell myself it would be a waste of a holiday if I didn't eat anything... haha

I probably wrote a similar post last year on this.. I guess I did fulfil one of my wishes -- to lose weight at uni! haha! Oh wells -- I'll just say this again, I'll lose it at uni! xP

and just to make you all feel jealous..

too full from my Korean BBQ! xP

Looking at these now.. I seem to have had more Japanese food than anything else! xP
will update more on my travels soon! =))

SM TOWN x Paris

This is such a late update but here is my post on my recent travel to Paris and my attendance at the SM TOWN LIVE concert on 10th June! =))

Paris was a MUCH needed break after my exams ended! I literally couldn't wait to get out of the country as soon as I left Leeds! Although I did get off on a risky foot before I left London though.. thinking that the Eurostar is like any other train you get on in the UK, I booked my train tickets to London with the arrival time 20 minutes before departure of my Eurostar journey! (you're meant to check-in at least 30 minutes). Speaking as an Economics student, I'm ashamed to say that I didn't calculate any externalities which may have deterred me from missing my train, i.e. tube breakdowns. long queues etc. BUT, luckily, I literally JUST made it and I'm glad my friend didn't travel without me! haha -- so in short, it was pretty stressful having to deal with the fact that I could have possibly missed out on my chance to visit Paris and ultimately.. seeing Korean Celebrities in their flesh and skin!

The hostel that my friend and I stayed out was not really what I expected, and I don't mean that in a good way..  First of all, we had to share a room with 2 other strangers (luckily they were girls), 2) we had to sleep on flimsy bunk beds -- and we had the top bunks, and 3) the staff were pretty unhelpful, especially when we asked for more toilet paper..
I guess in my mind, I was expecting the same kinda service and room that I had when I went to Berlin.. but yea, I wouldn't recommend anyone staying in that place (which I'm going to leave out the name).

First Day

After dumping our stuff.. my friend Charli and I headed for dinner to the restaurant right next to our hostel. We had such a good meal! yummm

Since it was still quite early, we headed for a night view of the Eiffel Tower.

The River Seine

Second Day (SM TOWN CONCERT!)

L'Arc de Triomphe

Charli and I decided to visit the L'Arc de Triomphe and make our way down Champs Elysees (the famous shopping street in Paris).

Walking down Champs Elysees wouldn't mean anything if I didn't visit their LV store! xP

A posh high-tea place

French Macaroons

Playing around with my art filters xP

The queue to get into the venue for the SM TOWN concert!

MINHO walked past me and I didn't even notice! To be honest, I'm not a big SHINee fan.. but wow, the exhilaration of knowing the fact that a KOREAN CELEBRITY was less than a meter a way from you!!

Girl's Generation

Super Junior

SHINee

My childhood dream come true...
DBSK were the first band that got me into K-pop, and that was when I was 11 years old!! (a good 8 years ago) I remember being their BIGGEST fan for at least 2 years before they headed to Japan and during that time, I've always wished to see them -- and it seems my wish came 2/5ths true. It would have made my life if all of them were still together. T_T

Third Day - DISNEYLAND!

You are NEVER too old to go to Disneyland!! xP Too bad I forgot to bring my camera charger while I was in France.. so I don't have many of my own photos! >_<

Fois Grais -- a must try! Really good stuff!!

Steak and "burger" xP

Fourth Day

Le Louvre

Notre Dame

More Macaroons

Wining and Dining at a posh restaurant in Le Champs Elysees! xP

Gare du Nord - Home time! ><

Overall, it was such an amazing trip! Last time I went to Paris was when I was about 7, so didn't much of a recollection of it. I was surprised to learn that I still had some basic French buried at the back of my mind! hahha, so we didn't get completely lost!

Sorry for the major photos spammage.. theres more, but I only chose the most relevant ones on my blog! xP and.. here is my video montage of the SM Town Concert. Enjoy! =))
